We carry a few different types of welt cord - They all serve the same purpose but differ in construction and are meant for different end uses

Braided Tissue/Fiber: Polyester braided jacket. Medium firm in texture	Firm Density Foam Molded Welt Cord: Ideal for marine/automotive upholstery and other applications.
Medium Density Foam Molded Welt Cord: Ideal for marine/automotive upholstery and other applications.	Braided Twin/Double Welt: Two welt cords braided together for double welt applications.

Please note: Foam and Plastic welt is so interchangeable, our manufacturer cannot tell them apart!
We may substitute foam for plastic if needed to fill the order.
