Windward is a versatile and durable material that has been a DLT exclusive marine vinyl for almost 15 years. Known for its resilience against harsh weather conditions, UV rays, and water exposure, Windward is a preferred choice for marine upholstery, seat covers, and boat interiors. Its waterproof nature makes it ideal for marine applications, providing extreme protection against mold and mildew. Windward has played a pivotal role in inspiring innovation and fostering the development of two groundbreaking programs with the same construct as Windward that we have named Anchorage and Starboard.
Prompt cleaning is always recommended. Most common stains can be cleaned using warm, soapy water, then rinsed with fresh water. For more difficult stains, wipe the affected area with a soft cloth or soft bristle brush using a non-abrasive cleaner, such as Formula 409® or Fantastik® Rinse the area with fresh water and wipe dry. For more difficult stains, dampen a soft white cloth with a solution of household bleach (10% bleach / 90% water). Rub gently and rinse with a warm water dampened cloth to remove bleach concentration. Do not use alcohol based cleaning agents!
